Gordon Fine Arts celebrates the works of artists David E. Gordon and Sue Brown Gordon. They are a husband and wife team working in a variety of artforms. It is a marriage of talents and love for creating art.

David is a master painter with a gift for color. His large painted works include such subject matter as vibrant blooming poppy fields and a large sensually rendered pear seated on a striking dark background. His latest mixed media works are of tall rows of trees, reminincent of a Tuscany landscape with a soft but graphic edge.

Please continue for examples of his previously sold works. Custom paintings are available upon request and commissions are accepted.

Sue Brown Gordon known both as a jewelry designer and as a painter.
Sue is an award-winning, nationally exhibited artist
based in Saratoga Springs, New York, Jupiter, Florida and now back in her home state of Connecticut.

Her sophisticated, contemporary mixed-metal jewelry and paintings are recognizable all over Fairfield County and the East Coast for their distinctive, organic forms and reflective tranquility. These lovely art works are created with a variety of materials - sterling and fine silver, 14 & 18 karat gold and natural artifacts such as fossils, twigs and shells. Each piece is a sculpture, expressive of the artist's personal experience.

Sue is inspired by the sculptural textures and whimsy of Alberto Giacometti and by the movement and simplified graphic quality of
Alexander Calder. Childhood memories of Long Island Sound's salt marshes are incorporated in Sue Brown Gordon's work, capturing the essence of the sea.
